We stock an extensive range of steel engineering ropes, stainless steel ropes and galvanised ropes all available in all sizes and constructions (1mm to 72mm). At Total Rope Solutions we realise that our customers need a wide range of stainless steel wire rope and fittings, we hold one of the largest stock levels in the UK. We can offer all our customers quality products and excellent service at a competitive price. We stock ropes from 1mm up to 26mm. All ropes are manufactured to the relevant BSEN Standards and come with test certificates.
Compacted Hi Spec
Total Rope Solutions stock a variety of Hi Spec / Compacted Wire rope. Key characteristics and benefits to selecting this type of Wire rope are:- 1. Higher Load to Weight Compacted Rope has larger valid metallic cross-sectional area, it has higher breaking load than the Round Rope having same diameter. A Compacted Rope allows the use of ropes with smaller diameter. It is economical since the working capacity increases due to its higher breaking load compared with other rope. Making facilities lighter and smaller is possible. (Winch drum, Sheave, etc.) The Compacted Rope has higher breaking load by 13-18% over Round Rope. 2. Intense Resistance against Abrasion With the surface of strand and rope being flattened to have wider contact area between Sheave and Rope, the Compacted Rope features an intense resistance against abrasion, because it has very little local abrasion owing to the small plane pressure applied to individual wires. 3. Rare Occurrence of Breakage The Compacted Rope does not have a secondary bending, and it is extremely rare for its wires to rise up due to internal abrasion and corrosion. Total Rope Solutions stock a full range of covered wire rope in a wide range of coatings including PVC, Polypropylene and Nylon as well as special coatings which we can arrange on request. We supply both galvanised and stainless steel coated wire rope and a wide range of covered wire rope is available from stock. Our PVC coated rope is manufactured to the highest uPVC stabilization factors to ensure less fading and maximum colour lifespan in use.
Small Cord
Total Rope Solutions have a wide range of small diameter wire ropes. We stock from 1mm up to 8mm in a variety of constructions 6×7, 6×12, 7×7, 6×19, 7×19, 6×36, 19×7 in many finishes such as galvanised, stainless and PVC covered. To compliment these ropes we also stock a comprehensive range of wire rope fittings to suit all possible applications and we can manufacture any special end fittings in our machine shop. All ropes and assemblies come complete with test certificates and are manufactured strictly in accordance with the relevant BSEN standards.

Access
We stock 8.0mm, 8.3mm and 9.3mm 4 strand special non-preformed ropes for all cradle access companies. All ropes have a very high breaking strain to suit the new factors of safety required on site. All ropes supplied are fitted one end and fused and tapered at the other. All our access equipment is manufactured to all the relevant BSEN standards and are insurance compliant

We carry in stock, diameters from 4mm up to 32mm in a variety of constructions which include: 18×7, 19×7, 35 x7, 6×19 IWRC and 6×36 IWRC which, together with our range of compacted ropes in: 19×7, 35×7, 6×36 IWRC and 8×19 IWRC means we can offer you a quality product, a fast delivery service and a competitive price. At Total Rope Solutions we have a large range of lift / elevator ropes and fittings. We stock lift / elevator rope from 6.5mm up to 19mm and we can offer a full range of fittings including: – Wedge Sockets to BSEN 13411-7 Lift Eyebolts to BS 5655 part 8 Din 13411 grips Special pin size thimbles All our ropes come with test certificates and are fully compliant with BSEN 12385 and all of our fittings are compliant with the relevant BSEN Standards.
Lubricant & Protection
Our Lubricants are designed to be used in all protection & maintenance of Wire rope & lifting equipment requiring resistance to extreme pressure and temperature. Especially for use in severe working conditions: Excellent for static and moving chains, wire ropes, hinges locks, screw threads, linkages and bearings, extending crane Booms and Jibs and Motor cycle chains.

Total Rope Solutions have many years of experience in Mechanical Splicing & Swage products. We have have several press/swage machines offering range of products from 1 – 52mm diameter. Our Presses range from 30t, 40t, 150t, 350t, 600t and 1000 tonne and with an array of Die diameters for each machine we have everything to cover any requirement. Ferrules are used in a wide variety of applications and industries, they are manufactured in Aluminium, Stainless, Copper and Steel. From Size 8 upwards all ferrules are traceable under (ISO 9001) and are marked with size, type and manufacturing batch number.

Fibre & Natural Rope At Total Ropes Solution we are able to offer a wide range of quality fibre, natural fibre and manmade ropes. All our ropes come in a wide range of diameters ranging from 2mm twine to 32mm thick rope. Ropes can be made from a variety of different materials: natural ropes (sisal, jute, manila, hemp and cotton) or man-made rope (nylon, staple spun, polyester, braided, polypropylene and Hempex). We manufacture cargo nets and also offer a full range of hand and mechanical splicing to suit all types of fibre ropes. We stock a complete range of roundslings and webbing slings available in standard and bespoke lengths. From 1 tonne to 20 tonnes and larger tonnages available on request. All slings are manufactured to BSEN 1492:1 and 1492:2. All our lifting slings are available in a variety of lengths and working load limits and are clearly marked. We offer a full range of wear sleeves. All slings are manufactured to BSEN 1492:1 and 1492:2. LASHING
Our restraint & lashing equipment is used to secure all types of loads and cargo during transportation. Using our lashing equipment guarantees your load will be securely fastened down to prevent movement / fall during transportation. There are two types of lashing equipment which can be used to secure these loads, Chain systems and web ratchet straps. Chain systems are made to BS EN 12195-3. These are steel components which make them ideal for securing heavy loads, or loads with sharp edges or abrasive surfaces which could cause damage to the ratchet straps. Ratchet loadbinders are supplied with grade 8 chain and can be fitted with a wide range of component fittings. We also supply all types of weld-on or screw lifting points / lashing points. Web Ratchet Straps are made to BS EN 12195-2. We supply these in 1 tonne (light use) 5 Tonnes and 10 Tonnes breaking load. We can supply with hooks, delta links and also in endless type. We supply wear sleeves and different types of protective coverings / edge protection. We also supply all types of lashing / links straps for the transportation of vehicles.
